Keep sales and device repairs organised at the electronics counter

An electronics counter cannot pause sales while the workshop checks a phone. Keep the sold article, the device left for diagnosis and the customer’s decision in separate, findable records; review stock shortages before you place a supplier order.

  1. Device intake

Link a repair ticket to the customer, device, serial number and reported fault.

  2. Approval

Add diagnosis and estimate; record the customer’s consent before moving into approved repair.

  3. Stock

Track EAN, supplier and minimum quantity, then review low-stock items after a counter sale.

How Sektura helps with everyday work

Example day

Illustrative day in a small electronics shop: a customer leaves a phone with a cracked display and asks for a price before any repair. Another customer buys the last charging cable of a popular type. The technician can diagnose the phone later, while the buyer checks which cable has fallen below its chosen stock minimum.

  1. Intake

At intake, staff note the customer, device, serial number and reported damage in a repair ticket. The phone is identifiable even though a diagnosis is still pending.

  2. Decision

After inspection, the technician records the diagnosis and estimate. Staff obtain the customer’s answer themselves and only then mark approval; the workflow blocks later repair stages without it.

  3. Replenishment

The cable sale uses the catalogue item at the counter. The low-stock view groups the shortage with its supplier, so the buyer can check quantities before ordering.

The repair and the replenishment need remain visible to the right staff without implying that the software contacted the customer or the supplier.

Getting started is simple

How it works

  1. Catalogue

Start with one device and one fast-moving accessory. Enter the article price, SKU or EAN, quantity, minimum quantity and supplier; inspect how both appear in the catalogue and stock view.

  2. Counter

Run a fictional counter sale of the accessory. Check its receipt and changed quantity, then open the reorder view to see whether the chosen minimum has been crossed.

  3. Workshop

Create a sample phone repair with a serial number and fault. Walk through diagnosis, estimate, customer approval and collection to see where your team must make a real decision.

Questions before you start

Does the system approve repairs for customers?
No. Your staff discuss the estimate with the customer and record the response. The approval field is required before an approved repair stage; a tick in the software is not a substitute for obtaining consent.
Does it order from suppliers automatically?
No. The screen lists items below their stored minimum and groups them by supplier. You check the need and place the actual order through your own purchasing process.
Is a warranty flag a legal decision?
No. A warranty flag or RMA reference documents a case. Manufacturer cover and any statutory rights require separate review; the record does not submit or decide a claim.

About the saved product image

The approved stored example image shows the product catalogue with a fictional USB-C adapter. It is not an image of the repair flow. Manufacturer RMA handling and customer communication need your own arrangements.
