Hand over a bathroom job with actual readings and open work visible

For plumbing contractors preparing the fitter, parts and site visit, then documenting the test that was really performed. A saved status does not replace a qualified assessment.

  1. Leave with a clear job

Customer, site, work type, date and assigned fitter can be checked before travel.

  2. Check parts on site

Recorded stock helps preparation; the contractor confirms which fittings were actually installed.

  3. Explain the test

The pressure record holds test pressure, duration, final value and examiner; remaining work is discussed separately.

How Sektura helps with everyday work

The new connection under the basin

Fictional example: after a bathroom renovation, the customer asks whether the new connection under the basin was tested before handover. A trim piece remains to be fitted.

  1. Compare job and parts

The fitter checks the affected pipe section and fittings against the work order and notes the unfinished trim.

  2. Measure at the site

A qualified person selects the applicable method, uses their own instrument and enters the readings and examiner name.

  3. Review the handover

The contractor explains the recorded result and agrees when the remaining trim will be completed.

Readings, fitted parts and open work can be discussed separately. Technical judgement stays with the qualified contractor.

Getting started is simple

How it works

  1. Create a sample job

Use a fictional customer, bathroom site, pipe task, visit date and fitter.

  2. Check sample stock

Enter example fittings and stock, then confirm what belongs to the job.

  3. Try the test form

Enter fictional readings, duration and examiner in the separate pressure log; review handover notes.

Questions before you start

Does Sektura choose a compliant test method?
No. It records entered values and result. The qualified contractor chooses and assesses the procedure for the actual installation.
Does it read a pressure gauge or reorder fittings?
Values are entered in the form; direct instrument capture is not established. Stock and receipts can be recorded, but automatic supplier ordering is not shown.
Are job, stock, test log and handover automatically linked?
Job, stock, pressure log and handover have separate views. The team must check how test and handover records are associated with a particular job.

Professional responsibility

Water, heating and gas work require different procedures and qualifications; verify the rules that apply locally.

Checking a new bathroom water line

After a bathroom renovation, a customer requests a check of the replaced water line before handover.

  1. Compare installed pipework and fittings with the job brief.

  2. Perform a pressure test on site and note readings.

  3. Review the test note and open points with the customer.

The job records readings, installed parts and discussed handover points.
