  1. A tour with usable details

    Store date, distance, ascent, difficulty, leader and meeting point. The prewalk check has space for conditions, pinch points and an alternative route.

  2. A trail issue has a record

    Trail care holds section, condition, last inspection and defects. The club still verifies whether the path is passable now.

  3. Signups belong to the walk

    Filter registrations by tour and see members and status. Editing a tour does not establish automatic delivery of an update.

    Add a sample member signup, record a fictional trail defect, edit the tour and open its filtered list.

Questions before you start

Will a tour edit notify members automatically?
Automatic delivery is not established in this workflow. Use the tour's signup list and contact members through your own agreed channel.
Does the desk know whether a trail is safe today?
No. Trail records show reported condition and inspection dates; the club and leader check current weather and terrain.
Can we store a detour and new meeting point?
Yes. The tour has description, meeting point and a prewalk field for an alternative route. Confirm the plan with the leader and verify who received the update.

A route file is not clearance

An imported track or old trail condition is information, not a current safety decision. The club may change or cancel the walk.
