Place new dancers in a class that fits

A new student asks about salsa but is unsure of their level. Before offering a place, your school checks experience, group size, teacher and room. The dance desk brings classes, students, enrolments, timetable and performances into that work.

  1. Make each class easy to judge

Record style, level, teacher and maximum group size so staff and students mean the same class.

  2. Confirm a place with context

Link the student to a class and check capacity, lesson time and room before confirming. Your teacher still judges the right level.

  3. Keep stage preparation separate

Note performance date and costume needs while the regular lesson stays on the timetable.

How Sektura helps with everyday work

Example: two newcomers before a studio show

Two adults ask to join the Thursday salsa group. The studio has a small show in four weeks. One person has danced before; the other is just starting.

  1. Discuss experience

The teacher checks each person’s background, class level and remaining places.

  2. Settle the lesson

Staff confirm enrolment, teacher, time and room before making a promise.

  3. Prepare the show

Only then do they note the date and missing costume sizes; the team decides who performs.

The school has a workable class plan and knows which level and costume questions remain open.

Getting started is simple

How it works

  1. Create a sample class

Enter style, level, teacher and a realistic capacity for a fictional salsa group.

  2. Check time and room

Add a timetable slot and review whether the teacher and studio room are available.

  3. Try an enrolment

Add a synthetic student, enrol them and check the resulting class assignment.

Questions before you start

Can a prospective student enrol online?
There is an online booking area. Before sharing it, check which classes are published and whether booking is set up for your school.
Will the group limit stop overcrowding?
The recorded class capacity is checked during enrolment. Your school still decides whether the room and format suit that group.
Can I bill class fees and private lessons?
Class contributions and individual lessons are available as billing items. You set prices, duration and attendance terms.

Level needs a real conversation

A beginner or advanced field cannot replace the student’s discussion with the teacher.

A performance is a separate decision

A class enrolment does not automatically promise a place on stage.
